A MAN and a blue van are wanted by police after a dad was reportedly attacked and killed in a violent street brawl.
Athony Paul Jones, 40, is wanted in connection with the chaos that took place in Pontnewynydd, Wales at around 7.15pm on August 6 which has led to ten men being arrested so far.
Police arrived at the scene and found Anthony “Tony” Jones, 56, badly injured before dying a few days later in hospital.
Since the father, from Brecon, passed away a murder has been launched.
Cops are searching for Athony Paul Jones and have also appealed for help in locating a blue Ford Transit van, with the registration MA23 FLC, which was reportedly involved in the disorder.
Senior investigating officer, Detective Superintendent Laura Bartley said: “We recognise that reports of this nature will cause concern in our communities, but our officers are working around the clock and conducting enquiries as part of this live investigation.
“Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the victim.”
