The newlywed pair were pictured being driven through the streets of Rome inside a 1930s Rolls-Royce Phantom III after the wedding ceremony.
McGregor was all smiles and was seen wearing a sharp black tuxedo with a large bow tie.
Devlin, on the other hand, donned a beautiful white dress as she sat beside her husband after the wedding.
The ceremony, which was kept tightly under wraps with only a small circle in attendance, comes just months after McGregor lost a civil rape case.
Insiders at the Vatican said the church had been reserved for the private ceremony, according to the Irish Independent.
Earlier this week, Vatican senior spokesman Matteo Bruni told the outlet that he knew of no such wedding arrangements, and there was no confirmation of the wedding.
The pair, together since 2008 and parents to four children, had long dreamed of exchanging vows in the Sistine Chapel.
But the Vatican does not permit there, forcing a rethink and a more discreet ceremony.
A source close to the family previously said: “Conor and Dee want to get married before and are planning a wedding at the Vatican in .
“They are both staunch Catholics, and it is their dream to wed there.
“They ideally would like to marry in the Sistine Chapel but it is not allowed so they may have to settle for the Cappella del Caro, which can accommodate 100 people beside St Peter’s Basilica.”
One of McGregor’s close friends shared an Instagram Story roughly 18 hours ago captioned: “When in Rome.”
It showed the Pantheon at dusk, and another zoomed in on a fresh pizza at a bustling streetside trattoria.
“Chilling with all my mates… when in Rome,” the caption read.
