COLEEN Rooney is risking reigniting her bitter Wagatha Christie row with Rebekah Vardy after speaking about the court war in her new docuseries.
The two high-profile WAGs had the nation gripped as in 2022 in a libel trial that was put forward by Rebekah.
It centred around Coleen’s claims that from her personal Instagram account, which was accessible only to Coleen’s approved friends.
Using clever detective work, Coleen, 40, planted fake stories on her Instagramaccount and ensured Rebekah was the only one with access to the posts. Some ended up making it into the press, confirming her suspicions and earning her the nickname ‘Wagatha Christie’.
Coleen won the case, proving her claims were substantially true. It was a costly experience for Rebekah, who was ordered to pay 90 per cent of Coleen’s legal bills in addition to her own, with the total more than £3 million.
However, to this day, Rebekah insists she was not responsible for the leaks.
In May, she told The Telegraph : “I’m never, ever, going to apologise for something I didn’t do… Hell will freeze over before I do that.”
Rebekah trademark the term ‘Wagatha Christie’ back in 2023 which allows her to use it in relation to a range of goods and services but also prevents others from financially gaining from it.
She also referenced the battle in her family’s own documentary earlier this year, admitting: “I’m so f***ing bored of it.”
Now, the dramatic real-life WAG war is being raked over again in the Rooneys’ new Disney+ series.
In the trailer, mum-of-four Coleen sits on a sofa as a producer questions whether or not they’re allowed to say the word ‘Wagatha’.
Smiling, she replies: “No, I think you can say it [laughs].”
It isn’t the first time Coleen has touched on it in the media.
In 2024, when she was a campmate on I’m A Celebrity, she called the experience her “worst nightmare” and hated having her personal life combed through in a public forum.
And there could be more jungle revelations to come as her husband Wayne has signed up for this year’s show.
