ONE of the world’s most notorious child-killers has been found with 200 child sex abuse images in his prison cell.

The 69-year-old denies the images are his and claims harassment.

Officials did not give details about the search or how the photos might have got into the cell.

The federal prosecutor’s office confirmed that a judicial was under way.

Dutroux is serving a life sentence for the abduction, torture and murder of girls in in the 1990s.

His crimes led to national outrage and prompted sweeping reforms of the Belgian and judicial systems after serious failings were exposed in the handling of the case.

Over the years, he has lodged several requests linked to his detention, but has remained incarcerated.

Police there have suggested Madeleine, three, may have been stolen to order in by a paedophile network with links to Dutroux.
