CHELSEA are sinking like a stone at the worst possible time.
A 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Tuesday night means the Blues have lost five consecutive league games without scoring a single goal in response for the first time since 1912!

Needless to say, this sharp downturn is reflected in Dream Team.
A 7-0 thrashing of Port Vale in the FA Cup provided a healthy influx of points but, in hindsight, that favourable mismatch merely papered over the cracks.
When Enzo Fernandez (£4.5m) mustered six points against the Seagulls last night, he became the first Chelsea player to take more than five points from a league fixture in over a month.
The Argentine midfielder’s viability was slashed when he was slapped with an internal two-match ban after he made unprofessional comments about his future during the most recent international break.
Joao Pedro (£4.7m) was a popular recruit ahead of Gameweek 32 but injury prevented him playing any part at all against Manchester United or Brighton.
The Brazilian forward is currently the most transferred-out player ahead of Gameweek 33 but his ownership remains a massive 32.8% at the time of writing, making him the fourth-most selected player in the game.
Early reports suggest he will be available for selection when the Blues take on Leeds in their FA Cup semi-final this weekend but his form is also a major concern.
Pedro ranks second among Dream Team strikers having amassed 280 points via 19 goals and ten assists but he’s scraped just 23 points from his last six outings, with nine of them coming against Port Vale.

It’s a similar story for Cole Palmer (£5.5m).
The talented 23-year-old was absent at the Amex due to a tight hamstring but has hardly been ripping up trees of late with 30 points to show from his last seven games — again, that tally is propped up by a goal involvement at home to Port Vale.
At the back, Marc Cucurella (£2.5m) is the eighth-most popular defender in the game with an ownership of 12.2%.
However, the Spanish left-back is in free fall having registered a measly nine points from his last nine appearances in a dismal run that started in mid-February.
Pedro Neto (£3.9m), Robert Sanchez (£3.3m) and Moises Caicedo (£4m) are also relatively popular as they were very much viable assets earlier in the campaign.
But not now.
It’s almost impossible to justify the selection of any Chelsea player at this moment in time.

If Palmer and Pedro are passed fit for this weekend’s showdown at Wembley then their owners might be hopeful of decent returns but Daniel Farke’s side will probably feel it’s a good time to play the West Londoners.
While Brighton were delighting their home fans on Tuesday night, the away end turned on Liam Rosenior and, given the club’s history regarding such matters, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if the head coach was relieved of his duties this week.
Truth be told, Dream Team managers are probably best staying clear of Chelsea altogether.
Only Burnley and Tottenham have earned fewer points from their last ten league games.
