He played a key role in helping Chelsea secure the 2017 title, scoring 25 goals in 77 appearances.
However, he was loaned out five times during his tenure, including two spells with other clubs.
Batshuayi currently plays for Eintracht Frankfurt and was an unused substitute in their match on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, the 32-year-old is worried once again as his beloved feline was critically injured in a traffic accident.
The Brussels-born forward shared a photo on social media featuring his cherished Abyssinian tomcat.
He wrote: “Urgent – need a blood donor cat to save a life. Hello everyone, I’m making a heartfelt plea. I live in Frankfurt, and my cat was hit by a car.
“He is in critical condition and requires emergency surgery. Unfortunately, he is too weak and urgently needs a blood transfusion from another cat to survive the operation.
“The veterinarians are seeking a healthy cat donor to help save his life. It would only require a small blood sample, which is completely safe for the donor cat, and will be performed gently by a professional vet.
“I know this is an unusual request, but it’s his only chance to live. If you are in or near Frankfurt and have a healthy cat, your assistance could literally save a life.
“The operation is scheduled very soon, so every minute counts. Please contact me directly.”
Batshuayi felt like a star when he joined Stamford Bridge, following in the footsteps of Romanian defender Dan Petrescu.
However, some of his performances left his managers concerned, leading them to frequently “pause” his career in London.
The striker later played for Turkish teams Fenerbahce and Galatasaray before transferring this summer.
