A Byker Grove star looks completely unrecognisable as he reunites with his co-star, 20 years after quitting the show.
The actor played the role of Dom Meredith on the show for five series from 2002 to 2006.

The character was a youth leader for the Byker Grove youth club in the Byker district of Upon Tyne.
Dom was only supposed to be on-screen for a few episodes but quickly became a hit, with the actor sticking around on the series.
Prior to appearing on Byker Grove, the actor in question starred in , which followed the ups and downs of fictional British club, Harchester United.
Can you guess who the actor is that we’re talking about?
That’s right, it’s Daymon Britton, who has also starred on , and .
Daymon reunited with hir former co-star Andrew Hayden Smith earlier this week for a special interview for the Back to Byker channel, in which former shows stars give fans a sense of nostalgia by returning to speak about the iconic series.
Andrew took to his page to share a picture of the two of them smiling for the camera and it’s fair to say that Daymon is looking very different from his Byker Grove days.
Nowadays, he’s sporting a full stubbled face, a stark difference from his clean-shaven look for his character.
Andrew captioned the post: “IT’S DOM! Daymon Britton played Dom Meredith in Byker Grove for 5 series between 2002-2006.
“Originally meant to appear in just a few episodes as Tina’s younger brother, Dom quickly became a big hit with the Grovers and soon stepped up as Assistant Youth Leader, making him part of the Grove furniture right through to the very last episode.
“It was lovely to catch up with Daymon after all these years – he has some great stories and this one’s full of BG memories you definitely don’t want to miss.
