Shocking footage captures the second a quiet neighbourhood descended into chaos as the roof of a bungalow exploded into the sky.
Bricks and tiles shot hundreds of feet into the air before raining down on parked cars and the street below.
Another video shows the home completely gutted with bricks, planks of wood and furniture scattered around it as a fire burns in one of the rooms.
A neighbouring bungalow also appears to have its roof severely damaged, with tiles dangling off it as fire crews rushed to unravel hosepipes.

Local have said how they could smell smoke and following the explosion, with the fire department is yet to confirm the cause.
Residents have been evacuated from their homes as engineers from SGN, a gas distribution company, carry out safety checks.
People gathered in a local pub called The Crooked Billet yesterday morning as they tried to grapple with the effects of the devastation.
Paramedics treated victims at the pub as the landlady, Ness Thornton-Kitchen, offered refreshments and charged peoples phones so they could let loved ones know they were safe.

Graham Fuller who lives on the road, told the BBC how he tried to help his neighbour following the terrible blast.
When the explosion occurred, he heard his wife scream before running outside to an “Armageddon” scene.
He said: “Debris everywhere, I ran out into the street and my neighbour had already managed to grab hold of the occupant of the property… He was badly burnt, in shock, and we were trying to treat him while all the chaos was going on.
“We’ve been kicked out of our homes at the moment; we don’t know when we’re going back.”
He praised the community for sticking together and the quick response from the emergency services.
Another neighbour, Marc Betts, was just about to leave his house when the explosion occurred.
He said: “The great big bang can only be described as World War Three in the street – I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemies, to be quite honest with you.”
It’s not yet clear when the residents can return to their homes.
Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene and are continuing to investigate the cause of the explosion.
It said: “Four fire engines, a command unit, operational support unit and two officers attended.
“Crews responded to reports of a suspected gas explosion within a domestic property.
“A man was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
“The firefighters are using one main jet and one hose reel jet, and are still working closely with Thames Valley and South Central Ambulance Service to manage the incident.
“Cordons at the scene have been put in place.”
The fire department has urged people to avoid the area while emergency services continue working at the scene.
