Surprise Brit TV shows A-list celebs can’t get enough of from Snoop Dogg’s love of Corrie to The Rock’s Bake Off fandom

THEY are forever on telly – but when tuning in themselves, their viewing choices may be a tad, er, surprising.

It recently emerged the late US rocker Jimi Hendrix was a big fan of Coronation Street , after visiting the UK in 1966.

But he is far from the only US star to have had a thing for a British TV show.

Reservoir Dogs director Quentin Tarantino , 62, hailed Peppa Pig in 2022 as “the greatest British import of this decade” after watching with son Leo, now five.

Actress Meryl Streep , 76, told The Graham Norton Show in 2016: “I love Grand Designs and Homes Under The Hammer .”

Ant-Man supehero actor Paul Rudd , 56, once said: “My favourite TV is Antiques Roadshow . Some might consider that nerdy”.

Oasis’s Liam Gallagher , 52, reckons Love Island’s “where it’s at”.

But rapper Snoop Dogg , 53, has other ideas, arguing that Coronation Street is “where it’s at.”

Hollywood siren Jennifer Lawrence , 35, would have you know The Only Way Is Essex, is “ridiculously amazing”.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson , 53, has such appetite for The Great British Bake Off , he teased: “I would do Celebrity Bake Off”.

US actress Anne Hathaway, 42, fell for Emmerdale when she tuned in to polish her Yorkshire accent for the film One Day – and admitted: “It was quite exotic for me”.

Actor Jon Hamm, 54, has spilled: “I used to watch The Goodies, Benny Hill . . . ” 

The late Queen Elizabeth II loved Dr Who so much she is said to have asked the BBC to send her copies of the show.

Queen Camilla, 78, likes Strictly Come Dancing and once told Sun royal snapper Arthur Edwards when they boogied: “We should go on Strictly . . . but don’t tell the King .”

Model Chrissy Teigen , 39, laid it all bare: “I love Naked Attraction ”.

Actress Emma Stone , 36, is a fan of Made In Chelsea and can mimic Mark-Francis Vandelli saying: “‘Darling, come in for a restorative glass of champagne.”

Oh, and Kim Kardashian , 44, once binged Bridgerton for five hours and posted on X, “Go get her!” as Simon Basset kissed Daphne Bridgerton .
