A BRIT grandad who allegedly tried to drown his daughter-in-law lover in a swimming pool in Florida has been spotted back in the UK for the first time.

Mark Gibbon, 62, has apparently in spite of his alleged attempt on her life – and they are said to be back together after he dodged a potential 15-year prison stint.

New photos show the silver-haired lighting engineer strolling with a pooch through a carpark.

Wearing a purple puffer and pair of cargo shorts, he can be seen sliding open the door of a waiting vehicle.

The lover grandad where he admitted one count of battery against 33-year-old Jasmine Wyld, mum of his two grandkids and ex of his own son Alex.

The jaw-dropping case dates to last August when the pair, who got together after she was engaged to his son, started rowing after a boozy night at a plush Florida resort.

The argument was sparked by a disagreement about Gibbon’s will, and spilled into the pool.
