Japanese officers spent more than two days searching for the Brit before she arrived unharmed at a police phone box in Yokohama – 30 minutes south of Tokyo – at around 8pm on Saturday evening.
The teen told officers she had visited an anime location and spent time at internet cafes, according to Japan Today , but eventually began to miss her parents.
Carmelita Lakdesha Paul arrived in for sightseeing with her parents and older brother on July 21.
Her family said they last saw her on August 12, at their apartment but when they woke up the next morning she was gone.
Carmelita’s father had spoken with her just the night before and said there was nothing suspicious about his daughters behaviour.
