A BRITISH couple being held in Iran over espionage allegations have now been sentenced to 10 years behind bars, their heartbroken family says.
Lindsay and Craig Foreman have spent 400 days languishing in a hellhole prison awaiting their fate despite repeated pleas from the British government to have them released.

Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper condemned the sentence of the married pair from East Sussex as “completely appalling and totally unjustifiable”.
She added: “We will pursue this case relentlessly with the Iranian government until we see Craig and Lindsay Foreman safely returned to the UK and reunited with their family.”
in January 2025 during a motorcycle tour around the world before being charged with espionage.
They have constantly denied the claims.
