Brentford produced a decisive second-half display to beat Chelsea 3-0 in the Premier League at the Gtech Community Stadium on Friday, 18 September 2026.

After a goalless first half, Jaidon Anthony opened the scoring in the 61st minute, Igor Thiago doubled the advantage in the 83rd minute and substitute Fabio Carvalho completed the victory in stoppage time.

Brentford take control after the break

Chelsea had the clearer moments early in the match, with Pedro Neto forcing Caoimhin Kelleher into a save, but Brentford emerged with greater attacking purpose after half-time.

The breakthrough came from a corner. Mikkel Damsgaard delivered from the left, Jannik Schuster headed the ball back across goal and Anthony nodded in from close range.
