A THREE-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being pulled from the water by a hero bystander at a UK beauty spot.
Officers scrambled to Bryngarw Country Park in Bridgend, South at around 2.40pm this afternoon.
It followed reports of a child having entered a body of water and getting into difficulty.
South Wales said a member of the public carried out CPR on the child before the arrival of an ambulance.
The child – a three-year-old boy from the Newport area – was raced to hospital where he is in a stable condition.
Police say an into this incident is currently ongoing.
Bryngarw Country Park spans 100 acres and is located in the Garw Valley.
The park is popular with dog-walkers and cyclists and also features a historic Japanese Garden as well as Bryngarw House.
