THEY’RE arguably the most famous boobs in the UK and have made Rhian Sugden a household name – even landing her a £100k fee for Celebrity Big Brother.
But the former girl has gone under the knife to have her 34HH cups reduced after years of living in pain which saw her dub them “absolute back breakers”;.
, 38, has always celebrated her famous curves, but since giving birth to her , in May last year, the weight of her boobs made it
As a result, she had been desperate to get them reduced.
“It’s always been on my mind to get a because my boobs have always been extra large,”; Rhian told us ahead of her op.
“But since I’ve had George, gravity has taken its toll and they don’t seem to have shrunk back after breastfeeding.
“They’re just so heavy. My back is in bits all the time, my posture is getting worse and I just want to feel better in myself.”;
After years of agony, the Manchester-based glamour model and an uplift at a private clinic in Warrington, saying her huge breasts were causing “bad back ache and neck ache.”;
She added: “No matter what size bras I bought, or how much scaffolding there was, the dents on my shoulders got worse and they are now permanent.
“It’s so painful now. I’m living on painkillers. Enough is enough.”;
Despite being a tiny size 6 when she shot to fame at 19 as one of the UK’s best-loved glamour models, Rhian was a 32D cup.
After tying the knot with former star in 2018, then going through before conceiving George, she gained weight.
“When I got married, I got more comfortable and started eating more, so I put on weight everywhere,”; she said. “But my boobs just seemed to take the most weight on.
“When I was modelling I was very underweight – although not purposefully. I just got good genes from my mum
.“Now I’m still a healthy size – more like a 10 to 12 around the waist – but I’m so out of proportion.
“I can’t wear nice clothes, because a lot of things make me look so big. I can’t wear vests without feeling like I’m on show and I can’t buy dresses because my top half is so much bigger than my bottom half.
“I’m usually in trouser suits with big blazers to try and cover up my top.”;
Rhian decided to go under the knife in a bid to alleviate her daily pain, so she has been shocked by the from some of her fans.
In one case, the online abuse was so threatening she was forced to call in the police.
THREATS FROM FANS
“One of my fans messaged me saying he invested in my career over the years and when he found out I’ve had a boob reduction this week he’s started demanding his money back,”; she said.
“It’s like he feels he owns my boobs because he’s bought content and magazines over the years.
When I got married, I got more comfortable and started eating more, so I put on weight everywhere but my boobs just seemed to take the most weight on.
“He was saying I’m making the worst mistake of my life – how dare I remove the boobs. His life isn’t going to be worth living.
“It all got very strange and I had to call the police.”;
Sadly, this hasn’t been an isolated incident.
“The reaction from some people has been wild,”; said Rhian, who starred on Celebrity Big Brother in 2012.
“A lot of people have been supportive, but a lot of my fans, so to speak, have been absolutely devastated.
“But I’m doing this for my health as well as cosmetic [reasons] and it’s been difficult to deal with people having an opinion on my body and acting like it’s the end of everything.”;
Rhian also admitted that Oliver, 44 – who she wed in a Turkish seaside ceremony – had his own reservations about the surgery. But he is now supportive of her choice.
“Oliver was gutted at first – he’s always loved my boobs,”; she said.
“But he understands and I think he’ll be happy for me to stop moaning about my back ache, to be honest.”;
Before signing up for surgery, Rhian tried hiring a personal trainer in a bid to help improve her posture. And while she says it did strengthen her back a little, she told us she hated going to the gym.
“I started swimming recently, up to two or three miles a week, but when I’m doing breaststroke, my boobs lift me up at the front, like they are making me float,”; she said.
“Two days after swimming I ache really badly, because of the position I’m swimming in.”;

Rhian, who will be in recovery for four to six weeks, was nervous about the four-hour surgery but excited about the results.
“I am worried about scarring, but that’s part and parcel of the surgery so I’ve just got to deal with it.
“I’ve taken advice and have some creams – and my surgeon, Dr Hussein, is apparently very good with scarring, so I’ll just have to hope for the best.
“But it’s been a long time coming and it’s going to be a relief.”;
Although the exact size was difficult to predict before the procedure, Rhian said she was hoping for a C or D cup, closer to the size of her chest during her glamour girl heyday.
“I’ve always had good boobs, but I know they are never going to be my 19-year-old boobs again.
“I’ve probably got high expectations, but I think anything at the moment is going to be an improvement.
“My nipples are now wonky and just the weight of them has made my skin thinner at the top, so I am looking forward to seeing the results.
“It’s the end of an era for my boobs. They’ve definitely been at the forefront of my career.
“But it doesn’t mean it’s the end. I’m just trying to get them back to their perky self.”;
