A BODY has tragically been found amid the search for a missing 19-year-old boy.
A frantic search for Alan Hirst has been underway since he was on Thursday.
said the last known sighting of Alan was at around 10.50pm in Leintwardine, .
Official identification of the body is yet to take place though officers believe it is that of Alan.
The 19-year-old’s family have been informed of the tragic discovery.
West Mercia said they are not treating the death as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the said: “While formal identification has not yet taken place, his family have been informed.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family, and we ask that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.”
