Published on April 14, 2021 at 10:24 PM

Happy Wednesday! There is a bunch of new Netflix movies and shows to watch today on the streaming service.

Normally, Netflix doesn't add many new original shows and movies on Wednesdays, but that's not true for this month. On Wednesday, April 14, 2021. There are a bunch of new titles to watch, including two movies that I think many viewers will want to watch.

If you're not interested, you can always check out the list of the best Netflix movies to watch right now for more top picks!

New Netflix movies

So, there are two new Netflix movies to watch on April 14: The Soul and Why Did You Kill Me?

The Soul is a Taiwanese movie. It tells the story of a couple who begin investigating weird things happening around them. Their investigation leads them into the supernatural and paranormal.

Why Did You Kill Me?, on the other hand, is a Netflix original documentary. It tells the story of a family's pursuit of justice after the murder of Crystal Theobald. They use social media to try to find the identity of the killer.

Best Netflix movies

Below, we shared the list of the Netflix Top 10 for Wednesday, April 14. For those who don't know the Netflix Top 10 is a list of the most popular Netflix movies of the day.

For the most part, the list includes the same movies as the Netflix Top 10 for April 13, but the order is a little different.

1. Thunder Force

2. The Stand In

3. The Little Rascals

4. Sniper: Ghost Shooter

5. Legally Blonde

6. Saving Private Ryan

7. New Gods: Nezhu Reborn

8. Accepted

9. Concrete Cowboy

10. Two Distant Strangers

Thunder Force is still the top movie on Netflix, and I expect it'll be that way through, probably, the end of the month when The Mitchells vs. The Machines is released on April 30.

Thunder Force stars Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer. When McCarthy's character is accidentally injected with something that gives her superpowers, she teams up with Spencer's character to stop supervillains.

The comedy is one of the biggest Netflix movies of the year so far.
