Belgium: Arokodare delighted to be back in goals race

Tolu Arokodare is thrilled to be back as joint leading marksman in the Belgian Pro League, DAILY POST reports.

Arokodare was on target in Genk’s 4-1 victory over KAA Gent on Sunday.

The Nigeria international has so far scored 17 goals in the regular season and four in the Championship playoffs.

St Truiden’s Adriano Bertaccini has also netted 17 times this season.

Bertaccini scored 16 goals in the regular season and five in the playoffs.

“It’s nice to be top scorer again,”;; Tolu told DAZN.

“I knew I wouldn’t start (the game). Of course, we have other players who deserve to play minutes in the Play-offs, so I could understand that choice.”;;
