A MUM has come under fire after she begged strangers online to send her £80 for her first haircut in four years.

Mum Summer, 26, from West Yorkshire, took to TikTok in a desperate attempt to raise funds for a visit to the – however, the clip drew criticism amongst trolls.

According to Summer, she had seen a fellow content creator ask people online for £1 each, so she could afford to raise £130 “to get her hair done for a ”.

Inspired, the mum then decided to do the same, begging 80 people to transfer her £1 each to give her tresses a trim.

In the clip , Summer (@ summerwall7 ) claimed that this would be her first haircut in four years, as she “spends every penny on her child”.

The mum, who added she tries “to help” whenever she sees “a person”, also provided details of her and Revolut accounts.

Unfortunately, so far she’s only managed to raise a total of £25 – and although the donations didn’t hit the target, Summer was grateful for all the support.

The donations, she revealed in the clip which has racked up more than 600k views, have since been added to her savings pot.

However, Summer – who was simply trying her “luck” – has since come under fire, with the mum revealing she’s been dubbed “bad” for the move.

One critic said: “U lot muppets she’s yet can’t get a hair cut u mean u choose not to.”

Hitting back at the comment, Summer – who said she was “on a ” – claimed she received the items free of charge.

“You mean the things i get sent for free to promote?”

“Might ask 30k people for a pound so I can pay my ,” another joked.

“I’m struggling too, sorry I can’t even help myself and working,” someone else chimed in.

“I wish! I don’t even have food in,” a fourth commented.

Thanking for the support and the £25 in donations, Summer also slammed the critics.

“Just for reference I am grateful for anything anyone sends/has sent, this was literally typed out in 2 minutes and posted, I am not as “bad” as a lot of people are trying to make out.

“I am a mum who spends every penny on her child, this was a silly tiktok trend that i saw and wanted to give a go.”

Hitting back at the online trolls, the mum urged people to “please be kinder”.
