FOOTBALL fans were shocked by the physique of Brazilian football legend Romario as he played a game of foot-volleyball on the beach.
The iconic forward, 60, is known for being one of the most influential strikers of his generation.

And he has still kept himself in top athletic shape, despite not having played pro for almost two decades.
The star shared a video of him playing foot-volley earlier this week, a sport similar to volleyball but players may not use their hands.
The shirtless former hero is still absolutely shredded in the video, and he used that physique to outplay his opponents in a game of doubles.
Romario and his team-mate, foot-volley champion Anderson Aguia, then celebrated and danced to the camera after their win.
Aguia uploaded a video of the scenes to his account, captioned: “The king of foot-volleyball and of Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival, .”
Fans were more than impressed by the star’s physique, taking to the comments to praise his athleticism.
One fan said: “Age is only a number! Perfect body!”
Another commented: “He’s in better shape than when he played in the national team.”

Romario is one of biggest sporting names, having won the 1994 World Cup, and the Golden Ball at that same tournament.
But football was only his first sporting passion, with foot-volleyball taking over following his retirement in 2009.
Romario picked up the sport in the 1990s, and took it more seriously following his retirement.
He even came runner-up at the 2001 Footvolley World Championships.
After stepping back from pro footvolley, Romario pursued a career in politics, acting as a senator for Rio de Janeiro from 2021 to 2023.
