BA suspended flights to and from Israel after terrified crew caught up in ballistic missile strike on Tel Aviv’s airport

BRITISH Airways suspended flights to and from Israel after its crew were caught up in the ballistic missile strike on Tel Aviv’s airport.

The axed services until tomorrow after fired from Yemen into Ben Gurion airport on Sunday, injuring six people.

Crew staying in between flights were later flown out to Vienna in .

One stewardess said: “We’re all glad to be out of there.”;

BA added: “The safety and security of our customers and crew is always our priority.

“We continually monitor operating conditions and have made the decision to suspend all our flights to and from , up to and including BA405 on Wednesday, 7 May.

“We’ve apologised to our customers for the inconvenience.”;

The airline had paused flights between Tel Aviv and last October, resuming on April 5.

The Foreign Office said it was up to individual airlines to ensure the safety of flights.
