He has reportedly been calling himself Chris Jude to police, but his identity has not been verified despite a massive investigation into the horrific murder and rape which rocked the Netherlands.
He has no official documents to corroborate his story or identity, Het Parool has reported.
He also says he hears voices giving him orders and can lose track of reality.
The alleged rapist and killer claims to be 22-years-old, having grown up in a string of orphanages across Nigeria.
He said he was often sent away to a new facility due to his “deviant behaviour”.
Apparently, his last orphanage was in northwest Nigeria.
From there, he claims he moved along migrant routes through Niger, Algeria or Libya, eventually reaching Tunisia.
During interrogation, he said he was given a new name Jude and Valentine’s Day 2003 as a random birthday when he made it to Tunisia.
He then said he journeyed through the Sahara and caught a boat to Lampedusa before traversing across Europe to arrive in the Dutch town of Ter Apel in June 2025, all of which is untraceable.
On June 21 2025 he was registered at the asylum centre in Ter Apel — the first confirmed moment he appears in official records.
How he later arrived at the asylum centre in Amsterdam-Zuidoost is unclear.
An ex-COA worker thinks Jude “knows exactly” who he is and what he’s doing.
“He also knows that if he throws some ‘mental health issues’ on the table, he’ll get a lighter sentence,” they said.
“There’s a good chance his dad’s called Chris and his mum’s called Jude, or the other way round. Many asylum seekers with fake names mix the names of family members to create a new one they won’t forget.”
They added: “Picking 14 February as a birthday is as common in the asylum world as choosing 1 January or 1 July. Easy dates to remember.”
Lisa, a recent high school graduate, was home from a night out with friends in Amsterdam on August 30.

At 3.30am, she sensed danger. In a desperate call to emergency line 112, she said that she was being followed.
Insiders told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that heard her final, harrowing moments as the attack unfolded.
By the time officers arrived at 4.15am, , close to the secondary school she had just recently graduated from.
appeared to show the suspect prowling the area less than an hour before Lisa was killed.
Police identified Jude as a suspect for the brutal stabbing, and linked him to a chilling string of other crimes.
Het Parool report that Jude has neither confessed or denied the allegations against him. He simply claims he has no idea what happened and can’t remember anything.
Alongside Lisa’s killing and a serious sexual assault at Weesperzijde on the night of August 14-15, Jude is accused of an attempted sexual attack on August 10 in the same area.
“He was interrupted and fled,” police chief Peter Holla said at the time, noting that Lisa’s murder came just five nights after the Weesperzijde assault.
Police Chief Peter Holla confirmed Lisa’s body bore “multiple stab and slash wounds”.
The full trial is still months away, but Jude will face a Dutch judge for the first time this week in a brief pro-forma hearing.
The case has been given the code name “ARECA”.
He will be sent for to a forensic psychiatric observation clinic as soon as a place becomes available.
