Ex-Partner of ‘Gisele Pelicot 2.0’ Husband Opens Up About Her Own Abuse Amid Tragic Death of His Wife

THE ex-partner of a husband whose wife died after she was allegedly drugged and raped has revealed the abuse she suffered.

Daniela Aichinger, 39, was found , it is alleged.

Her husband Robert Aichinger, 51, has been accused of giving alleged predators access to her for money while she was unconscious.

The chilling case has been dubbed “Gisèle Pelicot 2.0” – a label given by prosecutors in reference to the French woman who was drugged and abused by her husband and dozens of other men.

Now, the suspect‘s ex-wife, an unnamed 48-year-old woman, has revealed the harrowing details of her own marriage to Aichinger.

She alleged he abused their pet dog and punched her in the face.

The ex-partner also told police he became much more violent following the birth of their first son, Krone reported.

She claimed her husband asked her to have sex with other couples, and that she refused this request.

The woman said: “As a result, he sat down on me… and punched me in the face alternately with both fists.

“I had never experienced him like that before. Eventually he let go of me and went to sleep.”

She was allegedly left with a broken jaw, as well as bruising to her jaw and cheekbone.

The woman also detailed one alleged example where her ex-husband had “severely beaten” their dog.

She said the terrifying ordeal left her trembling in fear at the sight of him.

The woman’s claims come after her ex-husband was arrested following the death of his current wife Daniela.

She was found lifeless and covered in blood on a waterbed by her teenage daughter in Marchtrenk, Austria, on June 25.

Emergency services were called to the scene where they found Aichinger intoxicated, according to 20 Minuten .

He reportedly told cops that his wife had died during rough sex, and cops did not initially suspect the 51-year-old of any wrongdoing.

But an autopsy revealed horrific, fatal injuries that suggested that her death was linked to something much more sinister.

When police searched the man’s mobile phone, they allegedly found a trove of incriminating evidence.

The day before his wife’s death, he is said to have looked up home remedies to incapacitate a person.

Investigators also believe he repeatedly let other men rape her over an extended period for €500 (£430) per time.

The man is also alleged to have referred to his wife as “dead meat” in text messages.

He was arrested along with a neighbour, who is accused of sexually assaulting the woman twice, including on the night of her death.

He is understood to have left the house before she died.

Disturbing texts between the men allegedly saw them discussing the abuse, as revealed by Austrian newspaper Krone.

The outlet said the husband sent his neighbour a photo of his unconscious wife on the night of her death.

In one text, he wrote: “I’ll get her properly drunk. Then you can have sex with her again. The way she was whining the other day was amazing.”

The neighbour responded: “She almost screamed. You cover her mouth again.”

He also thanked the man for “allowing me to use her”.

Another text confirmed that the wife did not consent to the act, with the husband writing: “She’s not participating willingly”.

He also wrote: “If it worked, if I had date rape drugs, I would regularly make her available for you to rape.”

Several more suspects are currently under investigation.

The allegations have drawn immediate parallels to the Gisèle Pelicot case.

The high-profile French trial saw , drug her for nearly a decade and invite dozens of men to rape her while she was unconscious.

, who waived her anonymity, became a symbol of resistance after revealing she had no memory of the assaults and had been abused by at least 72 men.

That landmark trial exposed a sprawling network of men recruited online, a vast archive of videos and photos documenting hundreds of assaults.

It also revealed a sick grooming pattern in which Pelicot’s husband mixed powerful sedatives into her food and drink.

That case, which concluded with sweeping convictions in December 2024, set a stark legal and cultural benchmark in France.
