ARSENAL will have to break their own contract record to land Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr by offering him the highest wages in the club’s history.
The Gunners have to land Vinicius, 26, as they look to retain their Premier League title and go up an extra level by winning their first ever Champions League.

The North Londoners have turned their attention to the star forward, whose contract at runs out in 2027 and he has yet to agree fresh terms on his whopping £400,000-week deal.
But Arsenal would have to splash the cash to buy the Brazil international from Real, with new manager unwilling to part with the team’s biggest names.

That might soon become the norm as the Spanish tactician wants to hold onto the key players that led to Arsenal’s first Premier League title in 22 years last season.
Arteta could also do with some improvement up front with the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli linked with exits after Leandro Trossard’s departure, which led to .
That is why Arsenal have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain ace Bradley Barcola as well, with his price tag currently in the region of £145m.
Barcola, 23, with Liverpool but neither Premier League giant has made a serious bid.
This comes after Arsenal refused to meet Aston Villa’s £117m asking price for Morgan Rogers, who ultimately moved to rivals Chelsea on a British record transfer.
