“Some really like it and almost hold on to that, and kind of use you.

“Or it can go the other way where they’re a bit more off-put by it.

Rochelle told us: “I definitely have the most perfect work-life balance that I’ve ever known, because what I’ve realised is I can’t spread myself too thin.

“I don’t put pressure on myself.

“I think there’s a lot of pressure out there to suggest you have to post content daily.

“But I will bank content and get it ready to go, and then just upload it.

“It is all about time management – something I’ve learned through running my business.”

She added: “I’ve had my salon for 15 years this year, so I worked really hard before I had kids to kind of get to that point where I wasn’t working all the hours under the sun.

“Now I can pick my kids up, drop them off to school, and stuff like that.

“I actually do have a really good work-life balance, but the key to it is just being a little bit more strict with your own time, and actually understanding, if someone invites you somewhere, you don’t have to say yes!”

Rochelle runs The Dollshouse Collective salon based in Milton Keynes.
