Sources indicate that the producers have gone all out for this milestone, beginning with an extravagant trip to Asia for all the contestants.

A teaser for this month’s premiere showcased the skyline of Hong Kong as the backdrop for the boardroom scenes, replacing London’s Canary Wharf.

Additionally, there will be 20 aspiring entrepreneurs aiming to impress Lord Sugar and secure his investment, an increase from the usual 18 candidates.

The trusted advisors are returning to monitor the proceedings.

A source stated: “They are enhancing The Apprentice for its 20th anniversary. Expect more surprises and drama as they swap the Canary Wharf skyline for Hong Kong.”

The typical investment of £250,000 is still available.

In the previous series, Lord Sugar chose Dean Franklin as his new business partner, investing in his air conditioning business.

The Apprentice UK premiered in 2005, with Lord Sugar hiring his first winner, Tim Campbell, marking the start of the show's success story. Tim returned as an advisor in 2022.

The BBC has recently ordered its first full season of The Apprentice, set to air later this year.

Details about the participants in the six-part series are yet to be revealed. However, the 20th-anniversary celebrations commenced last month with two celebrity festive specials.

JB Gill, Angela Scanlon, Sarah Hadland, Matt Morsia, Thomas Skinner, and Shazia Mirza excelled during a challenge set in Lapland, crafting Christmas cookies.

They triumphed over Rob Rinder, Charlie Hedges, Aj Odudu, Eddie Kadi, Jake Wood, and Kadeena Cox.

The new series of the BBC banking drama Industry showcased Marisa Abela winning in the fashion stakes as Yasmin.

She remarked: “Bottega Veneta lent several bags, Cartier provided a lot of jewelry, and I wore a Prada skirt and some Saint Laurent.”

“Much of it required tailoring to fit me, which is why I got to keep some items.”

He stated: “It was a case of, ‘Yeah, why not?’ I’m thrilled I got to participate.”

However, he quickly realized that muscles alone wouldn't carry him through.

“I would say it was a false sense of security to think that my physical strength would be the only thing that helped me succeed.”

“There were numerous mental challenges. There were definitely tasks where being big and strong was not an advantage.”

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins continues tonight on Channel 4 at 9 PM.
