Joe Igbokwe, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC has described opposition figures harboring plans to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027 as appointment bandits.
Igbokwe alleged in a post on his Facebook page that some politicians thrown out of the previous administration over corruption were the ones plotting Tinubu’s removal.
He wrote, “All the bad politicians, all those PMB sent packing during his tenure for corruption, all those he sent away for none performance and all the appointment bandits are the ones who want to defeat PBAT in 2027 abi? Make we they play”;.

Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation, Abubakar Malami, former Minister of Justice, Hadi Sirika, former Minister of Aviation, Rauf Aregbesola, former Minister of Interior are among the aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress working against Tinubu’s re-election.
