The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Kebbi, Abubakar Kana Zuru, has denied claims that the party is losing members to opposition parties in the state.

The clarification was made in a statement made available to journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.

He insisted that the APC remains solid and united, maintaing that the party is also witnessing a steady influx of new members defecting from rival political parties.

“We are growing stronger and stronger in the state and at the national level. In Sha Allah, Kebbi State APC will continue to sustain and maintain its gesture by supporting the masses in the state through different empowerment programmes,” he assured.

Kana Zuru highlighted the achievements of the current administration across various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and empowerment initiatives for women and youths.

According to him, these interventions have contributed significantly to the transformation of the state.

He, therefore, urged residents to ignore the circulating claims, describing them as unfounded and misleading.
