But this week it was business as usual for the King of the Jungle on the touchline to manage his Yanited side as he took on Niko Omilana’s NDL FC at the Copper Box Arena in London.

Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwhistle, led his team in the pre-match handshake.

However, having shaken everyone else’s hand as he reached the penultimate player on NDL’s side, he then refused to shake the hand of Razzaq Coleman.

Coleman dramatically joined NDL this season having played for Yanited in season one of Baller League and previously saying he was unavailable to play this season.

Speaking before the match, Ginge had issued a blunt two-word message to his former player: “Good luck.”

And Ginge’s blanking of him during the handshake left the Sky Sports commentators stunned.

But Coleman, who also plays for Worthing in the National League South, returned to haunt Yanited.

The game ended in a 5-2 win for NDL, with Coleman grabbing the third.

NDL manager Niko celebrated by doing a Siuuu celebration on the touchline.

Tensions were not much better after the game as Ginge and Niko had an awkward moment where they refused to let go of one another’s hands.

Speaking after the game, Ginge was visibly frustrated at the late inclusion of his former player and called out Chunkz for his interference.

He told Sky Sports: “I don’t think it helps when you have Chunkz, who’s meant to be a mutual, ringing Raz saying what do I have to do for you to play for NDL.

“Then you get Niko going to Worthing paying a lot of money – it speaks volumes that both people have to do that to beat us.”

Ginge denied the accusations were false, adding: “They’re not accusations, I promise you that’s what happened…”

“Hopefully next season we won’t have bribery.”

The result left Yanited with two wins from nine games for the season, while NDL improved to five wins from nine.
