- Accusations Against Soludo
The candidate representing the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mr. John Nwosu, has stated that the people of Anambra have made it clear why they should not re-elect Soludo as governor.
Anambra is set to hold elections on November 8 to choose a governor, with the incumbent, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, seeking a second term. He faces competition from 15 other candidates, including Nwosu.
In a statement he signed and distributed to the media, Nwosu remarked: “Anambra deserves a governor who will not deceive them. A governor they can trust. For that reason, vote ADC.”
“We are pleased that Ndi Anambra have once again recognized why they cannot and should not return Soludo to power. Any governor who can misleadingly claim to have commissioned a hospital project that he did not, and which is not operational, does not deserve re-election. Trust is essential, as is honesty.”
“My grassroots outreach, condolence visits, and engagements with stakeholders this weekend took me to Agulu, Awka, Igboukwu, Ojoto, and Nnewi. We are making significant progress as we approach the campaign countdown period,” Nwosu added.
Recently, Soludo was accused of inaugurating a hospital project that was reportedly established by a previous administration; however, his aides clarified that he indeed oversaw the construction of the project.
