The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that the recently concluded governorship election in Anambra State revealed the opposition coalition as a collection of “confused political wanderers.”

They noted that the election not only defeated the coalition but also caused them significant embarrassment.

The spokesperson for the state branch of the party, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, mentioned that the election demonstrated that the opposition coalition is “nowhere to be found.”

In a statement he signed, Oladejo remarked that the election displayed the coalition as being in “disarray, scattered before the first whistle.”

He stated: “The Anambra Governorship Election has brutally unveiled the fragile, superficial structure of the so-called ‘opposition coalition.’ This election did not just defeat them; it humiliated them.

“It exposed their true nature. It revealed to Nigerians that beneath the noise lies a confused group of political wanderers, self-serving individuals, and chronic complainers pretending to be a coalition.

“A group that cannot secure a win in their own territory and supposed stronghold should abandon any dreams of winning elsewhere.

“The conclusion is clear: nowhere, absolutely nowhere. The Anambra election has marked the end of a coalition that never genuinely existed.”
