ALAN Cumming has plenty of experience in The Traitors’ Scottish castle, but he’d like to return to the show as a contestant next time around.
The actor has hosted the US version of the show since its launch in 2023.

However, Alan has revealed that he’d actually like to take part in the show’s celebrity version as a contestant.
“I’d love to do it,” he told Radio Times magazine.
He continued: “It’d be so fascinating to see it from the other side because I see up-close how people make terrible decisions when they’re mesmerised by this psychological experiment.
“It’s around episode five or six that they start taking leave of their senses.”
The American version of the show is shot in Andross Castle, the same location as the Claudia Winkleman-fronted UK show.

“I thought it was going to be good but I had no idea that it would become this cultural phenomenon,” added Alan of the popularity.
Recently, comedian Alan Carr had fans overjoyed when he won the first ever British Celebrity version of the show.
An average of 11.1 million people tuned in to watch – a traitor from the very first episode – and with it £87,500 for his chosen charity.

In anticipation of the big day, BBC released a teaser trailer for the new season.
It showed a shadowy figure in the iconic Traitors cloak carrying a lantern while walking outside at night.
A creepy cover of Blondie’s hit Heart of Glass played over the trailer as a graphic appeared towards the end.
