ALAN Carr has issued a cautionary message to the cast of the upcoming season of The Traitors, while also revealing its return date.
Fans of the BBC series will recall that the fourth season of this civilian sensation filled with intrigue and suspense is set to premiere in 2026.

This evening on BBC One, shortly after Alan Carr’s game show Picture Slam, the winner of Celebrity Traitors was seen donning his cloak and picking up his lantern to revisit the iconic Traitors castle.
As he walked down a dimly lit hallway, he picked up a letter and read it aloud.
“Dear New Traitors, Please take care of the place, as you won't believe what Claudia has planned this time. It's significant.
“Best of luck, you’re certainly going to need it.”
Claudia was then heard announcing that the new series will commence on New Year’s Day at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
This news is sure to excite fans, who have transformed the murder mystery game into one of the most popular shows on television.
Millions tuned in to watch the first celebrity edition of the series this November, where Alan cleverly maneuvered his way to the prize money after being a traitor throughout the series.
He managed to convince his fellow contestants that he was loyal, even turning long-time allies against each other in the final moments to secure his triumph.
An average of 11.1 million viewers tuned in to watch and he earned £87,500 for his chosen charity.
In addition to the new series, the show’s spin-off, Uncloaked, is also undergoing changes.
The chat show, hosted by Ed Gamble, is being relocated from its usual BBC Two slot to BBC One, and will continue to air after each episode.
Each episode will feature eliminated players discovering who the real traitors are, as well as who banished or eliminated them in pursuit of the prize money.
