The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Imo State has bolstered its ranks by welcoming Francis Igwejiuba, an education advocate trained at Harvard, into its membership.

The event was held at the party’s State Secretariat in Owerri, the capital of the state.

While welcoming the new member, the ADC chairman in Imo State, Professor James Okoroma, commended Igwejiuba for his significant contributions to philanthropy and human capital development in Owerri West.

He characterized Igwejiuba’s decision to join the party as timely and strategic.

This defection was announced in a statement released on Friday by the state publicity secretary, Chief Macdonald Amadi, and shared with the press.
