A chieftain of the New Nigerians Peoples Party, NNPP, Buba Galadima, spoken on whether former presidential candidate of the party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, will join either the opposition coalition or the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Galadima said people should support Kwankwaso to become the president of Nigeria so that he can deliver the dividends of democracy.
He said Kwankwaso is the only politician that the country needs and ought to follow, saying he’s a strategic politician.
Galadima stated this while fielding questions on Arise Television’s Morning Show programme on Friday.
He said: “Our party, the NNPP is a political party registered under Nigeria laws, recognized by the law recognized by INEC.
“We stand where we are. Of course, we had several things being said in the social media, in the press, but that only goes to confirm that Rabiu Kwankwaso is the only politician that this country needs and ought to follow, because he is, he is such a strategic politician.
He has decided to keep quiet, and people are campaigning for him free of charge. Instead of spending money to launder his image, everybody saying he’s a good person.
“Everybody is saying he’s he’s a capable person. Everybody says he is. He has capacity to run this country. What else do you need in any politician?
“More than that, that every Nigerian needs him. Every political party needs him. Why don’t they support him to become the president of Nigeria so that he can deliver the dividends of democracy.”;
