"2027: Throngs of Supporters Flood Kaduna as ‘Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria’ Energizes the Northwest [PHOTOS]"

Supporters and political stakeholders from across the North-West converged on Kaduna State as the Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, RTIFN, movement stepped up mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The gathering was part of the organisation’s North-West Zonal Town Hall and Public Engagement, which brought together RTIFN coordinators and executives from Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto and Zamfara states.

Representatives of the City Boy Movement, party leaders and other stakeholders were also acknowledged at the event.

Addressing the gathering, Director-General of RTIFN, Hon. Ahmed Bala, said the organisation was taking its message of support for the Tinubu administration to the grassroots across the North-West.

According to him, the group intends to extend its mobilisation from the state level to local government areas, wards and communities across the seven states in the geopolitical zone.

Bala said the movement would campaign on what it considers the achievements of the Tinubu administration, particularly in education, infrastructure, agriculture and economic empowerment.

“We are gathered here to take a simple but important message to the people of the North-West: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is working, the reforms are producing results, and Nigeria is moving forward,” he said.

The RTIFN DG cited the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, NELFUND, as one of the initiatives the group would highlight in its engagements with residents.

He also pointed to the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and other road and rail projects, as well as government interventions in agriculture, food security, youth and women empowerment, entrepreneurship and small businesses.

Bala, however, acknowledged that challenges remained, saying there was “still much work to be done.”

He argued that Tinubu should be given another mandate in 2027 to consolidate the policies and programmes of his administration.

“President Tinubu has laid the foundation. Now, he needs the opportunity to consolidate the gains and complete the work he has started,” he said.

Bala consequently directed RTIFN members and its partners in the City Boy Movement to intensify mobilisation across the North-West.

“That is why RTIFN, together with our partners in the City Boy Movement, must take this message from Kaduna to every part of the North-West—from the states to the local governments, from the local governments to the wards, and from the wards to our communities.

“Tell our people about the achievements.

“Tell our students about NELFUND.

“Tell our farmers, traders, women and young people about the opportunities being created.

“And above all, tell them that President Tinubu will do more,” he said.

Ahead of the 2027 election, Bala called on residents of the North-West to continue supporting Tinubu and vote for him when the time comes.

“As we move towards 2027, I call on the people of the North-West to continue supporting the President and, when the time comes, to exercise their democratic right and give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu another mandate to consolidate these achievements and take Nigeria further,” he added.

Bala also acknowledged Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani; RTIFN Founder-in-Chief and Patron of the City Boy Movement, Barr. Seyi Tinubu; the group’s patron, Mike Auta; North-West Zonal Coordinator, Mutala Shehu; and representatives of the City Boy Movement.

He declared that the organisation’s message going into its grassroots mobilisation remained that Tinubu had “done much”, was “doing more” and would “do even more” with continued support.
