A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, widely known as Jandor, stated on Thursday that his upcoming victory in the 2027 governorship election in the state will be an “easy win.”

Jandor asserted that the election will be straightforward for him with the support of President Bola Tinubu and the party.

The former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) made these comments during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

He remarked: “You cannot imagine what is going to unfold this time if I have the solid backing of Mr. President and the party in Lagos State. It will be an easy win.”

“I say this with all due respect to everyone. I have always maintained that whoever the party ultimately selects, we will all unite and campaign for that individual.”

“I played my cards wisely in 2021 and 2022 while we were part of the party. I understand that we are not inclined toward actions that undermine the party, and once the party nominates a candidate, we will all align and support.”
