President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday confirmed the signing of Ukraine’s economic partnership with the United States, clarifying that the agreement “foresees no debt.”;

Zelenskyy explained that the deal provides for the establishment of a Reconstruction Fund that will invest in Ukraine and generate returns within the country.

The Ukrainian leader stated that the agreement will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for ratification and assured that the process would be expedited.

The “equal partnership”; creates opportunities for substantial investment in Ukraine, as well as the significant modernisation of the nation’s industries.

Zelenskyy emphasised that the agreement is founded on fair terms, enabling both Ukraine and the United States to profit mutually through the partnership.

He also revealed that he and President Donald Trump had discussed the readiness to conclude the partnership during their meeting in the Vatican.

“We look forward to other outcomes from that conversation — it was a meaningful meeting, and President Trump and I used every minute to the fullest,”; he noted.
