FORMER Love Island star Zara McDermott is embracing a more natural look after deciding to dissolve her jaw filler.
In a raw new vlog, opened up about the ‘scary’ realisation that she had lost track of her own features following years of tweakments.

The former star admitted she started getting filler at just 20 years old, but soon fell into a cycle of unnecessary top-ups.
shared: “So for a couple of years, I’ve really wanted to get some of my jaw-filler dissolved.
“For context, I started getting a little bit of jaw filler when I was about 20… and I really didn’t know a lot about it.”
She continued: “Right now, as I speak to you, I am jaw-filler-less. I forgot what this part of my body felt like naturally.
“And I wish I didn’t insist on getting all these top ups about 18 or 19. But I do have a very small jaw naturally and I started to feel like I was becoming heavy here.
“My face has literally completely changed since I was in my early 20s.”
Showing a picture of her changing jaw-line she said: “But this is from 2018 and I was 21 here.
“As I’ve got older, it just did not age well with me. I look back at myself wanting to have any kind of surgery or wanting to change my face because I didn’t feel like I quite fitted in with the other beauty standards.
“And I feel sad about that. I feel really sad that that was a feeling that I had.”
continued: “So, I would say I think that the most important thing is that you take your time with these things because it can become a bit of a snowball effect and it can become a bit of a lifeline for people.
“People think that in order to love yourself and accept yourself, you need to change yourself physically.
“Realistically, what I’ve learned is the fact that you can change this all you want, but if you don’t feel worthy and you don’t feel like you have that unconditional love for yourself and self-acceptance, then none of this makes a difference when you look in the mirror.
“Unfortunately with that negative mindset about yourself, you’re always going to continually want to change something and it will never be enough.”
