2016 was a year filled with significant political events, from a surprising presidential election to the rise of "Stranger Things," the release of Beyoncé's "Lemonade," and the passing of David Bowie, which shocked many.
It was also a time characterized by a distinct fashion uniform, with a strong affinity for chokers, bomber jackets, black skinny jeans, and lace crop tops.
Since then, this era has been celebrated and romanticized on social media, with many declaring it “the best” time for fashion.

Recently, a woman's video went viral , amassing over 600,000 views, after she revealed that Zara has released nostalgic pieces.
Tahlia remarked: “Zara is really digging into the archives from 2016.”
She showcased a lace burgundy V-neck crop top with spaghetti straps, reminiscent of outfits we would wear for a night out, paired with skinny jeans and Superstars.
Even celebrities like Michelle Keegan and Emma Watson were spotted in lace V-neck bralettes on the red carpet, and they featured in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Tahlia expressed her confusion about whether the return of these iconic tops evokes “nostalgia or PTSD.”
The item is priced at £19.99 and is one of many available on Zara’s website and in stores.
