In London, , the heat reached a blistering 35 degrees earlier this week.

Now, Zach and Ava have been branded “cruel” after a “dangerous” move with their own dog during the extreme heat.

The couple willingly took their dog out for a long walk during the heat wave and confirmed their decision on .

Sharing snaps of them walking their dog, Zach said: “Heat wave = get out of the city.”

It seemed a clear acknowledgement of what they were doing during the peak heat.

Their dog could be seen chilling with them on the beach as well as appearing to enjoy its walk.

However, many fans argued that it was irresponsible for the parents-to-be to have their dog out in such temperatures.

One disgrunteld follower said to the pair: “Taking dogs out in this extreme heat is cruel and dangerous. You can mock and laugh at people who say this with your little violin emojis but they’re just looking out for the welfare of your dogs.

“It’s a fact that dogs being taken out in these temperatures are at risk of heat stroke which is fatal and burnt paws. Do you want that to happen?

“If you love your dogs, leave them at home where it’s cool and entertain them other ways, like games and training. You don’t have to retort with a smug reply by the way, you can take the advice and be humble and do better for your dogs.”

The comments rolled in with another adding: “All dogs while physiologically different are likely to suffer heat stroke and burnt paws when exercised or walked in the temperatures we’re seeing this week. Don’t try to argue with science because your dog supposedly ‘shivered’ because ‘there was a cloud’.

“It’s just irresponsible and dangerous.”

Someone else replied: “Good for you for calling it out. If more people did, less dogs would die from heat stroke or suffer immeasurably in this heat.”

The couple got together last autumn and quickly announced they were back in February and have been keeping fans updated on their pregnancy journey so far.

Zach, 28, and Ava, 24, who is the nepo-baby daughter of ‘s Caroline Hirons, recently had a tiff over what their son’s middle name will be.

At the same time the pair said: “Yes!”
