Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Monday said Governor Caleb Muftwang of Plateau State has conquered the state ahead of 2027.
Akpabio also described Muftwang as the newest bride of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Akpabio spoke during the official welcoming of Muftwang into the APC at an event in Jos, Plateau State capital.
“The governor, the newest bride of the APC family in Nigeria, and the performing governor of Plateau State, my brother Caleb. I have only one word for you.
“Even in the Bible it says, Caleb we can go up to the mountain and conquer it. I want you to know that this moment means you have conquered the Government House in Plateau State again in 2027,” Akpabio said.
The Senate President said the event has shown that the North-Central is now completely under the APC.
“Congratulations in advance, your name shows nothing but conquest. It is important for us to know that today’s event is very significant. Significantly, today the North-Central region is complete.
“People are spreading rumors as if this administration is targeting one religion. But I don’t think that we have had any government in the past 10 years,” he added.
