KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “ My Girlfriend Is the Man! ” has unveiled a preview of a heart-fluttering scene!
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “My Girlfriend Is the Man!” is a romantic comedy about a college student whose girlfriend unexpectedly transforms into a man.
ASTRO ’s Yoon San Ha stars as Park Yoon Jae, an astronomy student who is head over heels for his girlfriend Kim Ji Eun ( OH MY GIRL ’s Arin). Due to a gene that runs in her family, Kim Ji Eun suddenly turns into a handsome man (played by Yoo Jung Hoo ) and begins going by the name Kim Ji Hoon.
In the newly released stills, Kim Ji Hoon-who is still Kim Ji Eun on the inside but now has the appearance of a man-tries shaving for the first time. As Yoon Jae stares intently at Ji Hoon’s face and points to his mouth area, Ji Hoon, wearing a cute bunny headband, looks fascinated as he applies shaving foam for the first time.
However, when Ji Hoon struggles to shave on his own, Yoon Jae steps in to help. Just as Yoon Jae begins shaving him, Ji Hoon suddenly grabs Yoon Jae’s wrist, leaving him completely flustered.
The production team described this scene as “one of the moments that most clearly shows the chaos and comedy of the sudden gender-swap situation.” They added, “The first episode will be packed with laughter, heart-fluttering moments, and healing as Yoon San Ha and Yoo Jung Hoo’s chemistry shines. Please look forward to it.”
“My Girlfriend Is the Man!” premieres on July 23 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.
