PARAGUAY went all out to send their team off to the World Cup in style ahead of their final warm-up game.

The South Americans signed off in style with a 4-0 victory over Nicaragua and a spectacular fireworks display at the Defensores del Chaco.

Just over 34,000 fans packed into the stadium to support the team before their first World Cup in 16 years.

And put on a firework display worthy of whoever wins the whole tournament!

One video on social media noted: “Paraguay are putting the world on notice.”

Another posted: “Paraguay fans just gave their national team the most insane World Cup send-off ever packed stadium, tifo mosaics in red & white, and fireworks lighting up the night sky like nothing else.”

In what appears to be a South American tradition, had a special departing moment themselves when their plane was baptised.

Water jets were fired over the national team’s plane right on the runway before they took off for the United States.

Goals from Kaku, ex-Newcastle man Miguel Almirón, Matías Galarza and Alejandro Maidana gave the hosts an almost perfect win before they departed for North America.
