MORE flights are launching from the UK on an airline named the best in the world.
was once again named the world’s best airline in this year’s Skytrax awards, dubbed the Aviation Oscars.

And despite already having flights from Manchester and , it has revealed that even more are launching.
Connecting the UK to the capital of Doha, London Heathrow will get an extra two flights a day, taking it from eight to 10.
And Manchester will go from 21 weekly flights to 24.
Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, said: “Qatar Airways is consistently witnessing a steady rise in demand for our 5-star services to some of the most prominent destinations in the world, most notably for London, Dublin, and São Paulo. “
The airline’s huge new winter expansion also includes the launch of flights from to Doha in collaboration with Qatar Airways, as well as restart flights to Canberra.
, Frankfurt, Berlin and Dublin will also be getting more flights.
The UK flights to Doha take around eight hours, and is often used as a stopover for longer flights to Asia and Australia.

Presenter previously raved about Doha, telling Sun Travel: “I was really taken back by, they had some of the bestI’ve ever been to.
“In, they’d be something like £1,000 a night, but in Doha, you’re only looking at £200 - it’s very much a cheap luxury.”
