Woman ‘sexually assaulted’ at busy Tube station after being ‘approached & followed’ by man as cops release CCTV

A WOMAN was sexually assaulted at a popular Tube station after being followed, police have said.

Cops investigating the assault at Bank Underground station have released CCTV of a man they would like to speak to.

said it unfolded at 4pm on Saturday.

A man approached a woman at the station and started talking to her.

He then followed her through the station before sexually assaulting her as she went up the stairs.

A BTP statement said: “Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.

“Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 460 of 14 June.

“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”;
