A WOMAN was sexually assaulted while walking her dog by a man making derogatory comments.
She was attacked on Blackwell Lane in Darlington, Durham, on September 25 at around 7.30am, cops said.
The victim told that a white man approached her, made demeaning comments then started touching her inappropriately.
She described the attacker as tall, of slim build with dark facial hair.
He was reportedly wearing a black and a green hoodie at the time of the incident.
A spokesperson for Durham police said: “An investigation is ongoing and detectives are keen to hear from anyone with any information.”
Cops launched an immediate investigation following the assault.
They are urging anyone with information which may assist the enquiry to come forward.
