COPS have launched an urgent probe after a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted at a bus stop.
A man attempted to sit on the lap of a woman twice without consent at the West Village Tesco stop on Oxford Road in Reading, on Monday.

On the second attempt, they touched the victim inappropriately over her clothing, said Thames Valley Police .
The incident, which took place at 12pm, ended when a brave member of the public at the bus stop stepped in.
They challenged the offender by getting in-between them and the victim.
Cops said a second member of the public then verbally challenged the man.
The offender then left the scene, said police.
Investigating officer, PC Max Gascoine, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the sexual assault to please contact us.

Cops confirmed a man was charged following the investigation.
