A SHAKESPEAREAN twist of fate reunited two lovers more than a decade after they first met.
A Tennessee woman who ran away as a teenager fell in love with one of the police officers assigned to find her.

Roshin Ali was only 13 when she left her family’s home in Jackson, fearing for her life due to her father's violent behavior.
Just as the police began searching for her, she returned home the following day.
Fast forward 12 years, Roshin found a job at the same sheriff’s department where she met Tyler Schrupp.
Unbeknownst to them, Tyler had been part of the police unit searching for Roshin all those years ago.
He later mentioned that he didn’t recognize her upon her arrival at the sheriff’s department, but he felt an instant attraction.
“He wouldn’t stop looking at me, yet he wouldn’t say a word,” Roshin recalled.
Tyler admitted he was “kind of nervous” to approach Roshin because he found her “very beautiful.”
Eventually, Tyler gathered the courage to introduce himself, and they felt an immediate connection.
As their relationship deepened, Roshin began to share the traumatic experiences of her past.
“We started connecting the dots, and when she described the area, I realized, ‘Okay, I was part of that,’” Tyler shared. “It’s incredible that I was looking for you back then, and now we’re sitting here together.”
The couple is now engaged and has a five-month-old son.
Roshin shared their love story on her TikTok account in July, which quickly went viral, garnering over five million views.
In the video, set to a trending audio, she is seen shaking hands with Tyler, describing him as the “officer who searched for me while I was missing.”
The video sparked a wave of comments, with many expressing concern and questioning if he had groomed her.

In a follow-up four-part series, Roshin, known as Roro Nicole on social media, addressed the speculation.
“Some comments suggested that he’s grooming me, that he kidnapped me, and that I’ve been with him this whole time, [that he] kept me in his basement,” she explained.
Roshin detailed her harrowing story, which began in 2010 when she was 13 years old.
Her father, a gambling addict, restricted his children from leaving the house.
One day, he returned home after losing all his money, threatening to kill Roshin and her siblings if he caught them outside.
“We quickly ran into our bedroom, terrified he would start hitting us like he usually did when he came home upset,” she recounted in the video.
Her sister braced against the closed bedroom door, preventing their father from entering.
“He ordered my mom to get a knife and then began to stab at the door,” Roshin said.
Eventually, he forced his way in, grabbed her sister by the hair, and dragged her into their parents’ bedroom, where he began to beat her with a cable wire.
“We could hear her pleading for her life,” Roshin remembered.
“He duct-taped her hands and legs, and then put duct tape over her mouth to silence her screams.
“My mom walked into our room and looked at us, saying, ‘You’re next.’”
Roshin and her brother managed to escape by climbing out of their bedroom window.
They ran to the nearest park before their father reported them missing to
