A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after a Rottweiler bit her in a savage park attack.

The massive dog, which was on a “chain-style lead”;, pounced on her on a path nearSmithpool Park at 4.20pm on June 26.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack.
The man walking the dog, which was on a chain-style lead, is described as wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark trousers.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We are appealing for information after a woman was bitten by a dog in Stoke-on-Trent.
“We were called on to a pathway near to Smithpool Park and off Smallwood Close in Fenton.
“The victim, a woman in her 30s, reported being bitten by the dog at around 4.20pm, causing an injury to her chest which required hospital treatment.
“We are keen to speak to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident.
“Anyone with information or relevant doorbell footage is asked to contact us.”;
